Civil Engineer (E.I. or P.E./Preferred) with 4-6 years of experience in civil/site land development and municipal infrastructure projects with the ability to perform various project tasks and make a meaningful contribution to our team of Engineers and Planners.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities


Duties will include preparing design plans, supportive calculations, and reports for private and public engineering projects such as stormwater facilities, streets, storm drains, sewer, water works and other similar projects.


Civil AutoCAD/3D experience required.  Experience designing major (collector/arterial) roadways is a plus, as is experience with ICPR4/Modret and GIS.



Civil Engineer (P.E. or E.I.) with 4-6 years’ experience in civil/site land development with proven ability to analyze intricate drainage basins/projects using ICPR4/Modret and other stormwater software.  Working knowledge of GIS and Civil 3D is required.



Engineer I - E.I. required, P.E. Preferred

Must be knowledgeable/proficient with various drainage design software such as ICPR4, Modret, and have a good understanding of hydraulic design concepts.  CAD experience is a requirement.


Must have the drive, and willingness, to take direction from FLD&P managers in order to quickly gain the knowledge needed to handle design elements independently.


  • Minimum of 5 years of local experience with monitoring construction activities of local land development projects, preferably in Pasco County. 

  • Must be thoroughly familiar with Pasco County construction-related approval process, including bonding requirements.  

  • Good relationships with local contractors, municipality staff, etc. a requirement.



  • 5+ years of local experience in boundary surveys, topo/tree surveys, and construction layout.

  • Experience with Trimble, Topcon, Spectra Precision equipment, and Ranger 3 w/Survey Pro data collectors desired but not necessary.

  • Able to select/implement the right tools and strategy to fit the scope, site conditions, etc. of the task.

  • Must be able to perform basic survey calculations with the aid of data collectors, total stations, and GPS equipment.



  • Minimum of 3 years local experience with Trimble, Topcon, Spectra Precision and Ranger 3 w/ Survey Pro data collectors.

  • Familiarity with Survey Pro software a plus.



  • Florida Registration a plus, but not required.

  • 5+ years of local experience with boundary surveys, topo/tree surveys, and construction layout.

  • Experience preparing plats a must.

  • Must be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

  • Must exhibit experience processing .job/.raw format field data into CAD, and checking errors, and show knowledge calculating stakeout points from construction plans, etc.



  • 3+ years of experience.

  • AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge.

  • Experience in site plan preparation, grading, alignments, profiles, corridors, etc.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
