Florida Land Design & Permitting Inc. was formed in February 2019 by a group led by Edward Mazur, Jr.  Ed has been a civil engineering fixture in the Tampa Bay Area since the early 1970's.  From projects in Clearwater and Clearwater Beach to projects throughout Pasco, Hillsborough and Hernando Counties there's probably a project that you've heard of that Ed was engineer of record.  A co-founder with Ed was Paul Skidmore.  Paul was an experienced and knowledgable engineer in the Tampa Bay Area since the early 1980's. He was a well respected and good friend to everyone.  Unfortunately Paul passed away in December 2021.    He has been sorely missed.

Working with Ed for over 20 years is Jay Hunting who is an expert in all aspects of land development projects.  Jay has an excellent reputation throughout the Tampa Bay area with Land Developers, SWFWMD, and the area municipalities.

In early 2022, Robert Fudge, P.E. joined the firm as Vice President of Engineering.  Robert also brings years of experience on all sizes of civil engineering projects.

The rest of staff includes Land Surveyors, Project Engineers, Survey Techs, Survey Field Crews and Admin staff.  These individuals are the backbone of our firm.  They are the ones that get the projects out the door, on time and on budget.
